Picasa

Picasa ! Well its not Picasso but you can become one using it. The name intuitively makes you think of pictures well it is. It’s a software tool released by Google that lets you manage you digital photo or videos. Apart from managing your photos there are also tools that let you edit them.

The most striking feature of this software is its ease of use. There is no need for you to spend hours thinking or pouring over books unlike other software to know how to work with it. All you need is some creativity and in minutes you could have professional looking pictures.

You can import pictures directly into picasa from a digital camera. Other features include creating slideshows, movies or posters with your pictures, posting pictures directly to blogger.com, emailing and printing pictures and even ordering prints for you pictures online.

My favorite feature is the collage creation feature, in which you select a set of pictures and they are made into one picture (here is one of my collage).
